New databases added: Kids InfoBits, Oxford Research Encyclopedias, Very Short Introductions, Small Business Reference Center, Hobbies & Crafts Reference Center, Home Improvement Reference Center, Transparent Languages, Fold3, HeritageQuest, African American Heritage
OPLIN has purchased LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) for Ohio public libraries. These are high-quality video courses with a focus on business and technology.
We are working with the vendor and OPLIN to have this ready for patron use sometime later in July.
Chilton Library (Auto Repair) was renewed for another year. 22 of you completed the poll. 55% said KEEP. The pro-camp consisted of those who use it on the frontlines, who felt more strongly about retaining it. We’ll continue to monitor monthly usage and reconsider next year.
