If you never had the pleasure of meeting Mr Blount, you can still read his work. Lane carries most of his books in our circulating or local history collections, many of which are currently out-of-print. His newspaper columns and other related work are on our website. His files will be donated to the Smith Library of Regional History.
Mr Blount partnered with Lane on a number of occasions over the years, offering local history workshops and generously making his knowledge and research available to our staff and patrons. He will be greatly missed!
