Mobile app update

The issue several people have reported with the new mobile app getting stuck in MY BOOKSHELF seems to have been fixed today. If you continue to see this behavior in the app, please let me know.

We’ve also had reports of the following problems:

  • search results are empty when they shouldn’t be
  • renewed items show “renewed” in the app but not in Sierra

If you notice these or other bugs, please email me. Providing the patron barcode and PIN helps us test. Also,  I’ve had a couple of people who have downloaded the app but cannot login. If you encounter this, check the patron barcode in Sierra to make sure there isn’t a trailing [space] at the of the barcode. If it is there, remove it.

Zinio (magazine) integration has been postponed due to performance issues.
