September Employee of the Quarter 2024

Congratulations to the following September 2024 Employee of the Quarter winners:

HAMILTON:

Trent Hart – 2 nominations

Trent has spent so much time on the new quiet study rooms and done a fantastic job while still keeping up with all the regular tasks, all with minimal disruption to his co-workers or patrons. Thank you Trent!

Trent has gone beyond the scope of his normal duties this summer. While planning summer activities, I realized his skills were going to be needed to see my plans through. On more than one occasion, he was able to design and build structures that made specific programs possible. Despite his other duties maintaining LPL, he found the time to help the children’s department this summer and is much appreciated.

FAIRFIELD:

Brittany Elmore

Brittany has always been very helpful and friendly. Her friendly demeanor and fun attitude lifts up everyone else’s spirits. She has been a very reliable coworker and everyone always looks forward to working with her.

OXFORD/SMITH:

Patrick Hayes – OXB

Patrick has the eyes of an eagle! He can spot an out of place book from across the room. He is super efficient and thorough in his shelving duties.

LAC/BKM/TECH CENTER:

Savannah Bryant – Tech Center

Savannah has done an amazing job setting up the new youth area and rearranging the large format printer room. Her changes have made the printer easier for people to find and use. Since she moved it from a small, out of the way room, more patrons are noticing it and using it to print banners and posters. Overall, her work has really improved how the Tech Center serves our community. Moving the large format printer to a different room has also given us a space for the youth to spend time in, something that has been super helpful this summer!

Congratulations to this quarter’s winners! Each winner will receive their choice of 4 hours of vacation or a $50 gift card.
